What to do After a Car Accident

No one plans to be in a car accident. You don't want to be Googling what to do if you're in a car accident from the side of the road, so it's best to know the basics before that happens. It wouldn't hurt to print this information out and leave it in the glove box or center console of your vehicle, either. (While you're at it, make sure you have your insurance and registration there, too.) For more on what to do if you get into a car accident, read this article:

Buying a Car

Whether you're looking at used cars or new, a vehicle will probably be one of the most expensive purchases you'll make, so you will want to do your homework.

Car Talk

Car Talk was a long-running radio program on NPR that covered car repair. While the radio program is no longer being produced, an excellent web site about all things car remains. Here you can find free car reviews, and articles covering a variety of topics (such as how much you can expect to pay for an oil change) and how to save money on your car insurance. There are coupon codes for car rental, auto parts and service, and tires. There's also a Car Talk community where you can pose questions for people who own the same make and model car you do (submit your question in the form on the right-hand side of this page). For a whole lot more on cars, cruise on over to the main Car Talk site:
